Prowess friends –
Ashley Connell here, Prowess CEO, and I want to extend my sincerest apologies for any offense taken by the name of our closed Facebook group, “Prowess Tribe”.
After educating myself, I realize that it is very disrespectful and being that this company is built around inclusion and acceptance that was quite frankly, not cool.
This gave us the opportunity to brainstorm what our inner circle should really be called and I LOVE what we came up with. A definition of Prowess is….
Prowess: exceptional valor, bravery, or ability, especially in combat or battle.
As a nod to the above, we are renaming our Facebook group “Bravery in Battle”. We hear from working women, stay at home moms and hiring managers alike that oftentimes work does feel like a battle. Prowess’ mission is to help everyone find the tools, network and security they need to meet their professional lives head-on and not just survive, but thrive.
We’re looking forward to continuing to deliver A+ content within “Bravery in Battle”.
